The facts

I am a work in progress.  I am a 30 year old who feels no where close to being 30!  I have the greatest family in the world and I actually enjoy spending time with them – all of them!  I am your typical middle but not in the bad way.  I am constantly trying to bring and keep people together and happy.  Well of course I am also always fighting for attention – but what middle child isn’t.  I joke with my mother about this and she gets very upset – but it is all in fun.  I love being the middle child and would not want it any other way.

My parents (Tom & Debbie) are still married after more than 30 years and are the most generous people I know.  They are loving and so enjoyable.  I have the best parents EVA!

I have an older sister (Christi) in Chicago that I miss – but would never tell her to her face that I miss her.  But I am proud of her for making the move and not running home.

My younger brother (Brian) is married and he and his wife (Natalie) and have my first niece Brooklyn.  Thanks for making me an aunt – I love that kid and wish I could see her more.  I see changes in her everyday and it makes me sad that they live so far away and I am not going to get to see her as much as I would like.  But they are close enough that I can still go there for the weekend.  I can’t wait to watch her grow!

Most of my extended family is here in Austin or close enough that it I see them regularly.  My cousins are the best – when we all get together we have a blast – we just laugh and laugh.  There are 14 of us on my dad’s side and we are all really close in age.  We are blessed to have such a great family that has so much fun together.

Being a world class landscape photographer would be my ultimate goal in life – but at this rate it is never going to happen.  I enjoy my non-profit job and the people I work with.  I love that I get the opportunity to meet so many different types of people.  I have met some of the greatest funniest people through this job and I am grateful for that every day.  The most important being the GBF – more on that later.

Then there is B – AKA Biscuit – the best dog.  He is a Westie and I love that dog – he goes everywhere that he can with me and is just a good boy.
