For Pop – The Small Town Southern Blair

Pop – I miss you still to this day as much as I did 9 years ago on Jan 12th. I remember warmth, laughter and lots and lots of love. It saddens me that some of my memories have faded but you are always in my heart every day of the year. You built one of the strongest families I have ever known and I am ever grateful for it. Thank you Pop – I love, miss and cherish the time I had with you in my life. I wish I knew then how important family is; I would not have wasted a single moment of time with you. I hope that you are proud of this family and continue to bless us and watch over us.

One of my favorite quotes from Pop (that I use on a regular basis):
“What color green you waiting for!”

So Long and Farewell – For now…..

Having a job that revolves around the tax season makes the beginning of the year really, really rough for me.  There will be lots of long, busy days – including Saturdays.  So I will have to bid adios to the blog (and my social life) for a while.  I may post a random rant now and again as I make it through the rough times.  Please think of me – I think I will need all the help I can get to make it through another tax season.

I will luckily be able to resurface right around Valentine’s Day – for some reason there is a dramatic drop off of clients from the 13th to the 14th – its weird!  So this is a reminder to all my dear friends and family that you need to keep the night of Feb 14th open – I think you all know why by now.  You can celebrate your love with your significant other any day of the year – but only once can you celebrate my 30th with me!

To wrap things up….I did in fact remember to pick up the old school high school photos from my the rents place.  These photos were taken at Sear’s where we went, on our own accord, to have these pictures taken.  The funniest part about it – I just remembered by looking at these – that we did this 2 years in a row!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We are the biggest dorks ever – but I love it!  Love these ladies too!

Keep in touch!  Remember I am still here – just working my ass off…..don’t forget to file your taxes!
